Lorraine Blaxell

Lorraine qualified from Glasgow in 1992 and has worked in mixed practice in Leicestershire and Norfolk, as well as locuming in practices around the country. In the late 1990’s, she joined her family’s farming business, managing their 400-cow commercial suckler herd. She returned to farm veterinary work in 2008 and joined Three Rivers in 2014. She enjoys all aspects of the job and likes the unpredictability of what she will be presented with. She especially enjoys whole herd/flock health planning, which enables her to discuss with clients the management of their herd throughout the year, with the aim of constantly looking to improve animal health and welfare at a herd level. To get a break, she loves swimming, whether it’s in the sea or in a pool.
